Using events responsibly
Turn an event into a useful conversation
A recorded threshold tells you something happened; it does not tell you everything about the lesson or the road conditions.
Start with the detail
Review when and where a speed, braking or acceleration event was recorded.
Consider the lesson
An instructor may be responding to a learner’s action or a hazard. Ask for context before drawing conclusions.
Look for patterns
Use repeated configured events to guide a constructive conversation, not a single unexplained alert.
Events depend on the connected device and configured rules; they are not a measure of a pupil’s driving ability.
